October 2011 – The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) had approved funding of the five (5) researches endorsed by the consortium for this year.

The research proposals were the topics identified in the theme-based CY 2010-2015 Research Agenda of the consortium formulated in CY 2010. The Research Agenda followed a collaborative approach where different institutions from the region were organized to formulate and implement the research proposals. Other five researches are expected to get funding from DOH Region 1 and from PCHRD before the year ends.
