The R1HRDC approved the membership of Pangasinan State University (PSU) to the consortium through Referendum No. 1 series of 2011.
PSU thru its president, Dr. Victoriano Estira will join the Management Committee of the consortium beginning August 2011. PSU is one of the biggest state universities in the region which is expected to beef up the institutional health research capability of Region1.
At present, the consortium is consist of 4 SUCs, 3 HEIs, 3 government hospitals, 1 private hospital and 9 NGAs. The consortium welcomes other entities to join the consortium whether private of public which have the capability and interest to conduct research.
