Dr. Buhat then, discussed her lectures on Strategic Planning which cover the Balance Scorecard, SWOT Analysis, PESTLE Analysis and Mackinsey7 topics. According to the facilitator, Strategic Planning is intended to accomplish three important tasks: (1) to clarify the outcomes that an organization wishes to achieve (2)to select the broad strategies that will enable the organization to achieve those outcomes and (3) to identify ways to measure progress.
In order to achieve the Strategic Plan goals, Dr. Buhat challenged the participants to accomplish and present their committee's Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT), followed by the Three Year Strategic Plan as their output.
The planning was ended successfully with the presentation of committee's SWOT and Three Year Plan.
