The Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium - Research Utilization Committee (R1HRDC-RUC) and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) are excited to announce the Regional Research Conference 2025, scheduled for June 21, 2025, at the Conference Room, College of Medicine, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU-SLUC), Agoo, La Union.
With the theme, “Advancing Research Utilization for Healthier and Sustainable Communities,” which underscores the vital role of research in enhancing healthcare and promoting long-term sustainability, the R1HRDC-RUC is inviting abstract submissions from researchers across member institutions. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to scientific discussions and drive impactful change in health research and sustainable development.

Appropriate clearances include: Ethics clearance from the accredited Research Ethics Review Committee (REC or ERC) for studies with human participants; BAI clearance for studies involving animals; Gratuitous permits from DENR for studies involving the collection of wildlife; Biosafety clearance for studies involving genetic engineering and pathogenic organisms; NCIP clearance for studies involving Indigenous people. The selected papers will be featured in June 21, 2025 during the oral and poster presentations, providing a venue to share innovative findings with fellow students, researchers, educators, and policymakers.
