CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
The Department of Health Center for Health Development 1 (CHD 1), in partnership with the DMMMSU – OUS will conduct a Training – Workshop on Research Design, Methodology, and Proposal Writing and is now accepting interested participants for screening
The following are the research priorities of CHD1 (aligned with the National Unified Health Research Agenda):

2. Research to Enhance and Extend Healthy Lives
a. Communicable disease
b. Maternal, newborn and child health
c. Non-communicable disease
d. Mental health
e. Environmental health
3. Health Resiliency
a. Disaster risk reduction and health emergency
b. Climate change
c. Emerging and re-emerging diseases
4. Holistic Approaches to Health and wellness
a. Determinants of health
b. Health behaviors
c. Filipino traditional and complementary medicines
Who may apply:
- All permanent staff of CHD1 and DOH retained hospital are eligible to join training
- Permanent staff from partner agencies of CHD1
- Research committee member required to join training
Mechanics:
- All participants should write letter of intent addressed to:

- All participants should properly fill out research concept paper (Annex A)
- Deadline for submission of letter of intent and research concept paper is on October 31, 2019
- All researches of the accepted participants shall be funded by DOH CHD1
- All research output will become property of DOH CHD1 and will be stored in the research database.
