The Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC) officially concluded the submission period for the Call for Papers for the 2026 Regional Research Conference, following the deadline set on April 30, 2026.
Researchers, students, and health professionals from member institutions and partner organizations submitted research papers aligned with the conference theme, “Harnessing Ethical AI for Relevant and Impactful Health Research.” The initiative gathered studies highlighting the growing role of ethical and innovative technologies in advancing healthcare research and improving health outcomes in the region.
The organizing committee expressed its sincere appreciation to all researchers and participants who took part in the submission process and contributed their valuable research efforts to the conference.
Selected papers will undergo review and evaluation for possible inclusion in the conference’s oral and poster presentation sessions, which will be held on June 5, 2026, at the Gymnasium, University of Northern Philippines, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
R1HRDC remains committed to strengthening research collaboration, promoting evidence-based initiatives, and supporting innovative and ethical health research in Region I.
