The Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC) is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2026 Regional Research Conference, which is scheduled to take place on June 05, 2026 in University of Northern Philippines, Ilocos Sur.
With the theme “Harnessing Ethical AI for Relevant and Impactful Health Research,” the conference aims to highlight the growing role of artificial intelligence in advancing health research while ensuring ethical standards and responsible use of emerging technologies. The conference aims to encourage the exchange of ideas and research findings to inform evidence-based health programs and policies in the region.
Student and professional researchers from member institutions and partner organizations are invited to submit their research papers for consideration for oral or poster presentation at the conference. Selected papers will be featured in oral and poster presentations during the conference.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Appropriate Clearances, depending on the nature of the study
Appropriate clearances may include ethics clearance from an accredited Research Ethics Committee for studies involving human participants; biosafety clearance for studies involving genetic engineering or pathogenic organisms; animal research clearance for studies involving animals; and other relevant permits as required.
Researchers and interested participants are encouraged to participate in this significant event and help advance ethical, relevant, and impactful health research in Region I.
