2025 Call for Research Proposals for Funding

The Region 1 Health Research and Development Consortium (R1HRDC) - Research Management Committee (RMC) is pleased to invite early career researchers to submit research proposals for funding in the calendar year 2025. Qualified applicants may receive grants of up to Php 999,999.00 to support their health-related research projects.

Eligibility and Research Priorities:

This funding opportunity is open to early career researchers holding plantilla positions at R1HRDC member institutions. Proposed research projects must be aligned with the following:

• National Unified Health Research Agenda
• Region 1: Ilocos Region Health Research Priorities for 2023-2028

Application Requirements

1. Letter of Intent addressed to Dr. Maria Lourdes K. Otayza, Project Leader of R1HRDC;
2. Research Proposal using the DOST Form 2 (Detailed Research and Development Project Proposal format);
3. Line-Item-Budget using the DOST Form 4;
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the lead proponent/project leader; and
5. Endorsement Letter from the agency head or research director.
